거친 도끼, 무뎌진 날
산을 벨 수 없다 하여도
비웃음에 멈추지 않고
나는 묵묵히 나아가리.

땀방울이 돌 위에 스며들고
손끝이 닳도록 갈아내면
흐르는 시간 끝에서
마침내 바늘이 빛나리라.

고난이 벽이라 한들
나는 두드리고 또 두드리리.
물방울이 바위를 뚫듯
나의 길도 열리리라.

끊임없는 걸음이 세상을 꿰뚫고
도끼가 바늘이 되듯
작은 꿈도 현실이 되리라.

참을 인 忍 세 번이 길을 열고
끝없는 노력은 산을 넘는다.
